Minor in Mathematics

This minor comprises a collection of courses typically required for more advanced study in mathematics. With course options such as linear algebra, differential equations, and an introduction to proofs with real analysis, this minor will enhance a student's mathematical reasoning to analyze and solve complex problems. This minor is for students seeking a deeper mathematical foundation and is a good complement to a major in data analytics, finance, or economics. It also provides strong fundamentals to students considering a quantitatively-oriented graduate program such as quantitative finance, economics, or data science. This minor also allows students to add a credential to their diploma that indicates they have completed a higher level of mathematics training.
