The Minor in Entrepreneurial Studies empowers students from any major to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset and the capabilities to lead innovation-driven teams in our rapidly changing world. Students explore multiple pathways for impact as founders, innovators within established firms, or leaders in mission-driven organizations. Using industry standard tools and frameworks, students learn to recognize opportunity, navigate ambiguity, and turn ideas into action by creating solutions people value and business models that are economically feasible and organizationally sound. Through an interdisciplinary approach, the program emphasizes human-centered design, strategic decision making, and systems thinking for long-term viability. Students are equipped to test ideas, analyze funding alternatives, leverage resources, and make informed decisions in uncertain, resource-constrained environments. Students will develop confidence and adaptability to drive meaningful and sustainable impact.
