Liberal Arts Major

In addition to Bachelor of Arts majors in Global Studies, Health Studies, History, Media and Culture, Philosophy, Public Policy, Spanish Studies and Sustainability Science, a general major in Liberal Arts is available to all students who wish to design:

  1. a single, traditional concentration in a discipline without an established major; or
  2. an interdisciplinary concentration in an area such as gender studies.

All Liberal Arts majors must complete a thesis/research component as part of their course requirements.

In addition to the specific major requirements, students must also complete the General Education Curriculum, focused-course requirements, additional electives and modern language requirements.

For more information on these programs, contact the coordinator for the Liberal Arts major, David Curley, at 781.891.3496.
