Academic Advising and Support
Graduate Academic Advising supports student learning and success through comprehensive advising services aimed at promoting academic progress and achievement. Our work is grounded in Bentley’s commitment to student success, inclusive excellence, and a collaborative learning environment, as reflected in the Bentley Core Values.
To support this mission, we take a proactive and holistic approach to advising, offering individualized guidance and targeted support programs that help students navigate their academic experience, make informed decisions, and progress toward degree completion. As part of a collaborative, campus-wide advising network, we partner with MS and MBA program directors and other key resources to provide coordinated, consistent support that enhances the student experience and fosters academic success and engagement throughout the graduate journey.
Student Engagement
Within Graduate Academic Advising and Engagement, our objective is to help graduate students identify resources and services which can make the graduate experience one that is robust, engaging, and meaningful. The graduate school supports a lively community of full-time and part-time students from around the world, whose diverse experiences and backgrounds contribute to learning and personal development beyond the scope of the academic program of study. Our students are offered unique professional and social opportunities accessible to all graduate students, whether their experience takes place on campus or is experienced through remote modalities. We are committed to providing graduate students with support outside of the classroom to enhance the graduate student experience.
Location and Access to Services
Graduate Academic Advising and Engagement is located in Jennison 336. Students are encouraged to meet with any member of our team during business hours. Students can log in to Workday and click on Academics to schedule an advising appointment with an advisor. Appointments can be in person, by phone, or virtual. Students may also email questions to gradvising@bentley.edu or call 781-891-2348.
